Guaranty Trust Bank…Making a Difference

The Bank commenced a staff volunteerism business mentorship programme on the 22nd of November 2008 in collaboration with the Youth Business Initiative (YBI); a non governmental charitable organization whose core business is to address unemployment, poverty alleviation and job creation amongst youth.

The program requires volunteering mentors to provide financial guidance, marketing strategy and monitoring for youths and small businesses. 15 GTBank staff are presently involved in this initiative which was launched with the help of Direct Impact Consultants. The program is scheduled to run for a period of one year.
