Guaranty Trust Funds Transfer is a quick and efficient means of transferring funds from Nigeria to beneficiaries abroad for several purposes such as paying school fees, medical bills, mortgages, upkeep of wards etc.
It can be initiated online via our Internet banking platform or by submitting duly filled and signed Foreign Funds Transfer request forms at any of our branches.
The currencies that can be transferred under Guaranty Trust Funds Transfer presently are: Dollars, Pound Sterling and Euro.

STEPS Foreign Currency Transfer in GTBank branches Foreign Currency Transfer using Internet Banking To access this service, please activate it using the Self Service feature on the Internet Banking platform. You will need your token device to both activate the service and initiate your Foreign Currency requests. Log on to www.gtbank.com Click on the Internet Banking login and input your USER ID and PIN Go to the Self Service menu. Click on Add service Select “FX transfer to other banks” and authenticate the selection with a token. To make a transfer, select “FX Transfer to other banks” option under requests and the FX transfer request page is displayed. Click “Beneficiary List” and input the appropriate details Click on new request and complete the form on the FX transfer page Reconfirm transfer details and make appropriate adjustments before authorizing payment. Authorize the transaction using a code generated from your token hardware device and click the ‘submit’ icon to make payment A receipt will be automatically generated upon successful payment.
