The Guaranty Trust Group comprises of Guaranty Trust Bank plc, its associate companies, onshore and offshore subsidiaries Offshore Subsidiaries
Guaranty Trust Bank plc has five offshore bank subsidiaries, namely, Guaranty Trust Bank (Gambia) Ltd, Guaranty Trust Bank (Sierra Leone) Ltd, Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Ltd, Guaranty Trust Bank (Liberia) Ltd and Guaranty Trust Bank (United Kingdom) Ltd . Plans are also at advanced stages to open bank subsidiaries in other parts of Africa and elsewhere, internationally. The Bank also has an offshore non-bank subsidiary with the name GTB Finance B.V. It is a special purpose entity set up to raise the Guaranty Trust Bank's $350 million Eurobond Guarantee Notes.
Onshore Subsidiaries
The Bank has four onshore non-bank subsidiaries, Guaranty Trust Assurance plc, which provides general and life insurance services, GTB Registrars Limited, which caters for the Bank's growing investor profile and the shareholder base, GTHomes Limited, which offers superior housing solutions and services with focus on savings and loans, mortgages and real estate and GTB Asset Management Limited, which caters for securities related services.
