The GTBank Platinum Debit MasterCard is a Naira denominated premium debit card issued in partnership with MasterCard Worldwide. It is linked online real-time to the customer’s Naira denominated GTBank Current and/or Savings account. All transactions done using the Platinum Debit MasterCard are reflected on the account instantly.

The Platinum Debit MasterCard offers premium benefits to the cardholder beyond the Standard Naira MasterCard. This includes travel benefits, preferential treatments and rewards, higher transaction limits, and access to exclusive products and clubs by partner organizations.

Features and Benefits

• Acceptance for Payment - Can be used to pay for goods and services at about 30 million merchant locations worldwide (hotels, supermarkets, petrol stations, etc) in 210 countries
• Higher daily limits on the following channels;
      o   ATMs – N200,000 (or its equivalent in the local currency of any country)
      o   Point of Sale Terminals and Online Transactions – N2,000,000 (or its equivalent in the local currency of any country)
• No charges for Online or POS Terminal Transactions
• Access to the MasterCard Moments Website: http://www.mastercardmoments.com/, which contains information about the various privileges you can enjoy at MasterCard partner outlets worldwide.

• Accessibility– Gives the customer 24 hour access to cash from about 1.9 million ATMs worldwide.
• Safety – Employs the use of Chip & PIN technology to guard against unauthorized transactions.  The card also uses Card Secure TM, which is an additional secure verification feature for web (online) transactions.
• Personalized – Customer's name is printed on the card.
