Funds transferred into your Visa account before 12 noon will be made available by 4pm same day. Funds transferred after 12 noon will be made available 4pm the next day.
The daily withdrawal limit on ATM is 600 US dollars.
Visa Prepaid – issued instantly (already in branches) Visa Debit and Visa Classic – 7 working days for Lagos branches and 9 working days for up-country branches.
'PIN' stands for Personal Identification Number. It is a 4-digit number known only to you, and is used to authenticate transactions with your card. You are required to remember your PIN at all times. You can change your PIN to one of your choice.
A new card will be sent to your branch approximately two weeks before your card expires. Please visit your branch to pick up your card and PIN. The requirements for obtaining a GTBank Visa Card are: - Prepaid – A completed Visa prepaid application form, a valid means of identification, a recent passport photograph and utility bill (for non account holders)
- Visa Classic and Visa Debit – USD domiciliary account, a completed Visa application form.

Your GTBank Visa card can be declined for a number of reasons including: Insufficient funds in your Visa card Account Card has not been activated. Wrong PIN being used (use of wrong PIN three consecutive times will block your card) Exceeding daily ATM withdrawal limit Wrong security code on internet payments Supply of an address inconsistent with the address indicated on the card application form.

Your CVV2 is the 3 digit number printed on the far right corner at the back of your card. This security number is different from the Personal Identification Number (PIN) and can only be used for internet purchases.
