 The Guaranty Trust Bank "GTMax" account is an interest bearing current account designed to meet the needs of customers who want to earn interest on their account balances and minimize their bank charges through the maintenance of high balances in their current accounts. Features:
GT Max offers great features on three levels: Silver, Gold and Platinum accounts. Conditions: - GTMax is a non borrowing account (There will be no credit facility of any kind on this account).
- A maximum of five (5) withdrawals per calendar month will be allowed. In any month where more than 5 withdrawals are made, COT* will be charged.
- Maintenance of an agreed minimum balance earns you interest** on any amount standing to the credit of your account at the agreed interest rate of the account class.
- You pay Zero COT*
- It allows you to earn interest on your credit balances while having the flexibility to write cheques.
- Cheque books on all GTMax accounts are FREE!
- Encourages financial discipline through savings.
- Offers you higher interest rates up to 3% above the Bank’s savings account rate, so you earn more.
- Allows you to pay in all clearing instruments i.e. cheques, dividend warrants e.t.c.
- The GTMax cheques you issue can be paid into any bank.
- Receive your monthly statement of accounts by email.
- The account can be used as a salary account.
- Free access to all our services: on-line/ real time banking, SMS banking and e-banking (both Internet banking & banking via ATMs).
* A maximum of five (5) withdrawals are allowed per month. In any month where more than 5 withdrawals are made, a Commission on Turnover (COT) charge of =N=5/mille will be applied on all transactions for the month.
** In any month a customer withdraws or goes below the minimum account balance, interest benefit on the account for the month will be forfeited; and COT will be charged at =N5=/mille on all transactions for the month.
