Terms and Conditions

  • Make the purchase on amazon.com, including:
    • Amazon desktop site and related mobile sites
    • Amazon software applications and related android and iOS smartphone apps
  • The Voucher can be used on your next purchase on Amazon.com. Valid for use on the Amazon US marketplace only.
  • Only successful transactions qualify, and the offer is limited to the first 1,250 eligible customers only.
  • Rewarded on a first come, first served basis.
  • The rewarded voucher may be used at the customer’s discretion and is not required to be redeemed using the same GTBank Mastercard with which the qualifying transaction was made.
  • Vouchers may only be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible goods and services provided by Amazon.com Services LLC and its affiliates (including redemption services provided by Amazon Payments, Inc.) on www.amazon.com, or certain of its affiliated properties, such as smile.amazon.com. Eligible goods and services are subject to change in Amazon.com sole discretion. Redemption of Gift Cards at any affiliated property is subject to change in Amazon.com sole discretion.

Important Notes:

  • This offer is promoted by GUARANTY TRUST BANK PLC (“us”, “we” or “our”); and this Promotion only applies to qualifying purchases of $120 or more on Amazon Platforms using a GTBank Dollar Card at checkout
  • This offer specifically excludes payments made using Cash on Delivery, Amazon Store card, FSA or HAS cards
  • This offer is strictly on a ‘first come, first served’ basis with only 1,250 (one thousand two hundred and fifty) Complimentary Vouchers available in total.
  • All transactions made on Amazon.com that meet the qualifying spend threshold of $120 or more shall be deemed eligible for this Promotion, subject to compliance with all other applicable eligibility criteria and terms and conditions.

Duration:

This Promotion runs from 01 August 2025 until stock lasts. Any transaction made once stock is exceeded will not be eligible.

Eligibility:

You are entitled to participate in this Promotion ONLY IF:

  1. You are a person who is at least 18 years old and resides in Nigeria.
  2. You are an existing GTBank customer with a Dollar MasterCard of the below types:
    1. Mastercard Dollar Debit
    2. Mastercard Dollar Corporate
    3. Mastercard Standard Credit
    4. Mastercard Consumer Credit
    5. Mastercard World Credit
    6. Mastercard World Elite Credit
  3. The transactional account and your Qualifying Purchase was made in full compliance with the general terms and conditions at Amazon’s website

NB:You will NOT qualify/you may NOT participate if you:

  1. Do not meet the aforesaid criteria in full nor if you are a supplier of goods or services in connection with this Promotion
  2. If you are a director, member, partner, employee, agent of, or consultant to Amazon.com or Guaranty trust bank or any other entity which directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Amazon.com or Guaranty trust bank
  3. If you are any of the aforementioned persons’ spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister or business partner.

How to qualify/redeem:

Each successful Qualifying Customer will receive a corresponding Complimentary Voucher bi-weekly and by way of direct message to the email address used to register their Guaranty trust bank account, and each corresponding Complimentary Voucher:

  • Will be valid and redeemable for 10 years from issuance date only; and
  • Can be redeemed by the Successful Customer during such period on any purchase on an Amazon US Marketplace Platform ONLY ONCE, provided such purchase has a shopping cart value of $40 or more (i.e. specifically excluding any purchase of vouchers) and was made using your Guaranty trust bank Dollar Mastercard at checkout.
  • If you did not receive the direct message as aforesaid, it means that you were not one of the Successful Customers either because the Complimentary Vouchers Limit was reached or you otherwise did not comply with any term or condition of this Promotion.

Disqualification:

There are certain situations in which a Successful Customer will be disqualified from receipt and usage of their corresponding Complimentary Voucher, namely and in our sole discretion:

  1. They cancel or return the applicable Qualifying Purchase within the Promotion Period, and such cancellation or return is not a ‘Not what you ordered?’, ‘Products damaged on delivery’ or ‘Defective products’ return; or
  2. They’ve acted in contravention of or otherwise did not comply with any term or condition of this Promotion.

In the event of disqualification of a particular Successful Customer, we will be entitled at our sole discretion to select another Successful Customer from amongst the Promotion participants, or to not deliver/allocate that particular Complimentary Voucher at all.

Unforeseen events:

In the event of unforeseen circumstances or causes beyond our reasonable control, we reserve the right to cancel this Promotion, to change the number or nature of the reward at any time, or to change the terms and conditions of this Promotion at our sole discretion (provided that, unless required due to such aforesaid unforeseen circumstances or causes beyond our reasonable control, we will not change the conditions for participation or conditions for receiving the reward, as stated herein).

By participating in this Promotion, you agree to all the Promotion terms and conditions set out above and the Amazon Privacy Policy as well as the Amazon.com Gift Cards Terms and Conditions without exception.
